Summary

Implements the second review of all briefs.

Structure and tooling

  • The nav, README and index now group topics into Fundamentals, Languages, Web, Infrastructure and Domains, alphabetical within each group.
  • New scripts/lint_briefs.py checks the AGENTS.md rules:
    • at most 6 bullets and 3 bold terms (outside tables) per concept;
    • at least 2 concepts per section;
    • no "as above" references;
    • no duplicate concepts or double blank lines;
    • every topic listed in README, index and nav.
  • New check.yml workflow runs the lint and zensical build --clean --strict on pull requests. The Pages workflow also runs the lint.
  • AGENTS.md documents the groups, the bold limit, the minimum section size and the lint script.

Content (concepts: 537 → 596)

  • Ethereum restructured into smaller concepts:
    • New Solidity section: data locations, checked arithmetic, gas optimization patterns.
    • DeFi split into AMMs, lending and flash loans, MEV, and bridge exploits.
    • Transaction types moved into a table.
  • Misfiled items moved:
    • Algorithms: new Strings and Greedy/backtracking sections.
    • System: geospatial indexes moved out of Sketches.
    • JavaScript: Memory separated from Metaprogramming.
    • Frontend: new CSS section; React split into rendering model and hooks pitfalls.
    • Security: attacks split into server-side and browser-side, plus a new Authorization section.
  • Gaps filled:
    • AI: attention cost, mixture of experts, reasoning models, batch and streaming.
    • JavaScript: Node.js runtime (libuv thread pool, backpressure, workers, AsyncLocalStorage).
    • DevOps: persistent volumes, workload identity, CI practices.
    • System: long-lived connection balancing, cache and database consistency, proximity service, file sync, metrics aggregation, job scheduler.
    • Security: command injection, SSTI, XXE, prototype pollution, request smuggling, CSP, open redirect.
    • Rust: async locks; Deref, AsRef and Borrow.
    • Python: functools.cache pitfalls, dataclass default_factory.
    • TypeScript: 6.0 defaults, utility types on unions.
    • OS: cgroup memory limits, swap, NUMA.
    • Networking: TCP keepalive and half-open connections.
    • Backend: PATCH formats, health endpoints.
    • Go: PGO, GODEBUG.
  • Cleanup:
    • Removed duplicates (Go version list, TypeScript satisfies, AWS SCP and ALB bullets) and generic advice.
    • Merged one-line concepts and single-concept sections.
    • Trimmed bold terms to at most 3 per concept.
  • Facts re-checked: Lambda Managed Instances 90-minute timeout (Sept 2026); Temporal (Stage 4, ES2026; Safari only in Technology Preview).

Test plan

  • python scripts/lint_briefs.py: 0 problems
  • zensical build --clean --strict: no issues

Generated by Claude Code

- Nav, README, and index group topics into Fundamentals, Languages, Web,
  Infrastructure, and Domains, alphabetical within each group.
- scripts/lint_briefs.py checks the AGENTS.md rules (bullets, bold limit,
  section size, self-contained concepts, topic listings).
- New check workflow runs the lint and strict site build on pull requests;
  the Pages workflow runs the lint too.

- Ethereum: split dense concepts, add Solidity (data locations, checked
  arithmetic, gas patterns), split DeFi into lending, MEV, bridges.
- Refile misplaced concepts: algorithm strings and techniques, system
  geospatial indexes, JS memory vs metaprogramming, frontend CSS and React
  sections, security server-side vs browser-side attacks.
- Fill gaps: attention cost, MoE, reasoning models; Node.js runtime;
  Kubernetes volumes, workload identity, CI practices; new system designs;
  injection classes, CSP, request smuggling; async locks and Deref in Rust;
  functools.cache; TypeScript 6.0 defaults; NUMA and cgroup memory; TCP
  keepalive; PATCH formats and health endpoints; PGO and GODEBUG.
- Remove duplicates and generic advice; merge single-concept sections and
  one-line concepts; keep bold to at most 3 terms per concept.
