fix(mobile): keep composer attachments above the draft - #25349
With an attachment in the draft, the mobile composer shows it in two places. At rest, small thumbnails sit in the compact row, capped at one on iPhone and three on iPad with a "+N" tile. When focused, the full preview strip appears above the text. Every focus change swaps between the two, so the card snaps in height and the preview ghosts over the "+" as it fades out.
Fix
The attachment strip now stays above the draft whether or not the composer is focused, like iMessage. Focusing only brings up the keyboard and nothing moves. This removes the row thumbnails and the thumbnail's compact mode, which nothing else used. All attachments are visible at rest, and each can be removed there with its ×. The attachment area animates its height when the first attachment arrives or the last one leaves, so the card grows and shrinks instead of snapping.
The trade-off is that a draft with attachments is taller at rest.
Macroscope's review found this PR requires human approval — The PR changes the default mobile composer presentation by keeping full attachment strips above the draft even when unfocused and animating the composer’s height. This is a user-visible product-default change rather than an opt-in or internal-only adjustment.

Walkthrough
The thread composer now displays editing attachments inside the composer surface in expanded and collapsed states. Attachment tiles use a consistent presentation. Compact inline thumbnails, row-width tracking, and attachment-wrapper exit animations are removed.

Summary
Use consistent attachment tile presentation apps/mobile/src/components/ComposerAttachmentStrip.tsx
Attachment tiles no longer use compact-mode props or layouts. Upload status text and filenames are always shown.
Render attachments in the composer surface apps/mobile/src/features/threads/ThreadComposer.tsx
Editing attachments render in an overflow-hidden container. Its height updates immediately on Android and animates on other platforms. Compact inline thumbnails, row-width tracking, and attachment-wrapper exit animations are removed.
The attachment preview stays in one place as focus changes, and no actionable merge-blocking risk remains after normal checks.

Minor · Functional Correctness · Quick win
Remove the card preview’s exit fade.
When the editor blurs, this withTiming call keeps the card preview visible for up to 140 ms. The compact thumbnails begin fading in after 60 ms, so both previews can appear during the collapse. Set the collapsed opacity to 0 immediately. Keep the height animation and the focus fade-in. Reanimated’s withTiming duration controls how long the opacity takes to reach its target.
