Checked every link under the React, Angular, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Miscellaneous sections and removed entries that return 404 or are otherwise confirmed unreachable (verified with a real browser user-agent to rule out bot-blocking false positives): - Create a Character Voting App (sahatyalkabov.com, 404) - Build an Instagram Clone with Angular 1.x (hackhands.com, 404) - Find Similar Quora Questions series, both parts (towardsdatascience, 404) - Learn Twitter Sentiment Analysis, Parts III-XI (towardsdatascience, 404) - left Parts I-II since they still work; removed the rest rather than leave gaps in a sequential series - Transfer Learning for Image Classification using Keras (towardsdatascience, 404) - Natural Language Processing using scikit-learn (towardsdatascience, 404) - Mask detection using PyTorch Lightning (towardsdatascience, 404) - Hack Club Workshops (hackclub.com/workshops, 404) Addresses practical-tutorials#344. `python scripts/check_readme.py lint` passes with 0 errors / 0 warnings. Closes #344 (partially — there may be more dead links elsewhere in the README; this PR covers what I checked).
Checked every link in the README with a real browser user-agent (to avoid false positives from sites that block bots) and removed entries confirmed to return 404 or be otherwise unreachable:
A few other links timed out or threw SSL/connection errors (fullstackreact.com, thinkster.io, blog.bitsrc.io, csl.name, a couple of ashwinhariharan.tech posts, flenker.blog) but DNS still resolves for all of them, so I left those alone rather than guess — could be slow/bot-blocking rather than actually dead.
