This page explains the general testing guidance that applies to all testers — now and in future.

🌍 Where to Test: Production vs Staging

✅ Staging (use this for testing)

• This is our testing ground.
• New features appear here first.
• It may be unstable — things can break, look strange, or reset.
• All testers should use Staging.
• Staging accounts/data may be wiped at any time.

If you’re ever unsure which site to use: use Staging.

Production (Prod) (for reference only)

• This is the “main” version of the app.
• It’s intended to be the most stable.
• You do not need to test on Production.

📝 Quick Glossary

• Staging: the testing playground (may reset)
• Production (Prod): the main “real” app (more stable)
• Feature: something you can do in the app (e.g. onboarding, quest timer)
• Bug: something that doesn’t work as expected
• UI: the app’s buttons, text, and screens
