Fixes #811

Requires go 1.26.10 in go.mod (go install ignores toolchain) so builds include the CVE-2026-111943 fix (golang/go#82345).
Release and CI workflows now read the Go version from go.mod; the explicit go-version there overrode the toolchain line.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Chores
    • Updated the required Go toolchain version to 1.26.10.

Review was skipped due to path filters

⛔ Files ignored due to path filters: 3
  • .github/workflows/build-test.yml is excluded by !**/*.yml

  • .github/workflows/release-test.yml is excluded by !**/*.yml

CodeRabbit blocks several paths by default. You can override this behavior by explicitly including those paths in the path filters. For example, including **/dist/** will override the default block on the dist directory, by removing the pattern from both the lists.

Raising the module's Go version without updating the CI workflows makes the build, lint and release-test jobs fail. Releases cannot be produced until the workflows use Go 1.26.10 or read the version from go.mod.

Explanation

Issue #811 requires release builds to use patched Go 1.26.10 or 1.27.3. The reviewed go.mod declares go 1.26.10, which satisfies the patched-version requirement. The release workflow change cannot be verified because the workflow blob and the pull request diff are unavailable. The supplied change summary lists only go.mod, while the current description claims a workflow change.

Resolution

Provide a reviewable whole-pull-request diff or the current .github/workflows/release.yml content. Confirm that the release workflow does not override the Go version and uses the patched version from go.mod.

Update all CI toolchains before raising the module minimum.

go 1.26.10 requires Go 1.26.10 or newer. The build, lint, and release jobs still run Go 1.26.9 with GOTOOLCHAIN=local, so they fail before validation. Update every affected workflow to use Go 1.26.10, and make the release workflow read this version from go.mod.
