Replace the Travis CI badge with the GitHub Actions CI badge, and point the Maven Central badge at central.sonatype.com, since search.maven.org no longer serves the old search page.
Replace the deprecated setEncrypted with setUseTLS, add setUserAuthenticator and setPath, and give the reconnection defaults and actual backoff timing. Point the JavaDocs link at javadoc.io and correct the JDK range and wrapper command in the development prerequisites.
