An explicit Setup A→B→A switch could replay A’s earlier startup operation, leaving B active while the saved configuration said A. Each explicit save now receives a fresh connection operation ID; startup keeps its stable ID for replay. A production editor regression proves saved, reopened, runtime, and next-task selection agree after A→B→A. Verified red before fix, green after fix, and full pnpm check on GTR. The separate real CLI SQLite descriptor-open failure and protected live glm-5.3 failure still hold package publication.
