feat(status-pages): one-screen builder, live screen and the page as its own editor - #1950
Customer status pages, 9: one-screen builder, a "live" screen, and the page as its own editor
The old flow had several problems: a two-field create dialog, then an empty tabbed editor, then one dialog per component, and no view of the page while you built it. This PR replaces all of it with the design approved in review.
Where it lives: "Status pages" now has its own sidebar entry under Monitor (/status-pages, /status-pages/new, /status-pages/<id>). The Alerts hub tab is gone, and the old URLs redirect.
Builder (/status-pages/new), one screen
Page: name, and an address that follows the name until you edit it.
What's on it: your uptime monitors as a checklist.
With 8 or fewer monitors, all are pre-checked except heartbeats.
You can rename, group and reorder rows inline.
"Monitor a URL" creates an HTTP monitor and its component in one step; with no monitors, this is the first thing shown.
Components without a monitor can be added too.
Look: presets plus Auto, Light or Dark.
Live preview: the real renderer, with your monitors' real uptime history from the new POST /v2/status_pages/preview, debounced.
Publish page creates the page and every component in one transaction and publishes it. Save as draft keeps it private.
Drafts are real now: a new draft column, and the publisher never writes a draft. POST …/publish clears the flag. Existing create callers, MCP included, are unchanged.
Live screen:
shows the public address with Copy and Open;
next steps are a break-glass token and "Connect an agent" (the JSON view and API docs);
with no status domain configured (prd today), it says so instead of showing a dead link.
Editor: the page is the editor
Header: state, public address, Post incident, and a menu with View public page, Settings, JSON, Break-glass and Delete.
Live preview: click a component or incident to edit it in a side panel that saves as you go.
The preview iframe is sandbox="allow-scripts" without same-origin.
Selection arrives over postMessage, and the parent validates it.
Preview-only data-* ids never appear on the public page.
"On this page" list: mirrors the preview's selection, for keyboard and screen reader users.
Incident composer: opens in the side panel, and selected components highlight in the preview.
Previews link correctly:pr-<n> stages give the status Worker status-pr-<n>.maple.dev, and web reads the URL from the stack. Prd gets no hostname until the status domain exists.

Walkthrough
Status pages move from the Alerts hub to top-level routes. The changes add draft-aware creation and publishing, read-only previews using uptime data, a new builder and panel-based editor, and status-domain URL wiring.

Builder, list, and shared controls apps/web/src/page/status-pages/builder/*, apps/web/src/page/status-pages/list/*, apps/web/src/page/status-pages/shared/*
The web app adds top-level list and builder pages. The builder supports monitor selection, manual components, URL monitor creation, appearance controls, previews, and draft or publish submission.
The editor uses a page canvas and side panels for components and incidents. It adds autosave, reordering, component addition, preview selection, live status, settings, JSON, and publication actions.
Top-level routes and legacy removal apps/web/src/route/*, apps/web/src/page/alerts/*, apps/web/src/page/registry.ts, apps/web/src/shell/nav.ts
Status-page routes are registered at /status-pages, /status-pages/new, and /status-pages/$pageId. Legacy Alerts status-page routes redirect, and Alerts hub integration is removed.
The stack exposes status origins for development and preview deployments. The web build uses the configured status base URL, and the status Worker receives the resolved domain.
Draft state in status-page tools apps/ai/src/mcp/tools/status-pages.ts, packages/domain/src/mcp-outputs/status-pages.ts
Status-page tool output includes draft state. Draft pages render as not public and do not report pending publication.

Status pages work end to end, but AI tool output can say a draft change or incident is public when it is not. Drafts also show a link that does not resolve, and a failed multi-component add can lead to duplicate components on retry. These are bounded issues worth fixing before or shortly after merge.

Report when the incident’s page is still a draft.
A draft page can contain an incident with published: true, but the page publisher skips draft pages. The mutation output exposes only the incident’s publication state, so renderIncident reports the incident as published without warning. Include the parent page’s draft state in StatusPageIncidentMutationOutput and warn that the page must also be published.
Documenting the tools as live-page-only is not warranted because the tools explicitly support creating and publishing incidents on draft pages.

@coderabbitai The two outside-diff findings on apps/ai/src/mcp/tools/status-pages.ts are fixed in #1972 (3a56bcc): StatusPageIncidentMutationOutput gains pageDraft, and the incident tools warn that a draft page keeps even a published incident private (new tool test on a draft page); apply_status_page_config says the change stays private when the page is a draft instead of promising it publishes within a minute.
@Makisuo Thanks. I inspected commit 3a56bcc84 in #1972. The patch addresses both outside-diff findings:
StatusPageIncidentMutationOutput includes pageDraft. The shared incident renderer warns that a draft page keeps all incidents private, including published incidents.
apply_status_page_config reports that changes to a draft page stay private until the page is published.
The new tool test checks pageDraft: true and the warning for a published incident on a draft page. I inspected the test but did not run it.
