Scale weighings are now written to Apple Health and Health Connect as weight samples. Before this, the scale weight stayed inside the app.
What changes
New lib/health/health_weight_export.dart. It applies the same household filter as the trend (10 to 300 kg, chained 10% band, re-seed after 3 near rejects). It keeps a persisted set of exported timestamps per device (health_weight_exported:<id>, newest 2000), so a re-run does not duplicate samples.
Failures are bounded: kMaxWeightAttempts (6), cleared by reset and by force retry. A failed weighing is skipped and the rest continue. A hung store is guarded by a timeout and _storeHung, as for the deletes.
Permission is requested once per install, on both platforms. The write is always attempted afterwards, because Health Connect's hasPermissions(WRITE) is unreliable.
health_export.dart: WEIGHT joins _types but deliberately not healthDeleteTypes or _rewriteTypes, so a delete or rewrite pass can never touch the user's weight history. A test enforces this. exportScaleWeighings runs at the end of exportAll.
Imported profile weights are not echoed back to Health.
Maintainer decisions needed
New Android permission WRITE_WEIGHT in AndroidManifest.xml.
It reuses the existing health_sync toggle; there is no separate opt-in for weight.
The iOS usage-description wording in Info.plist.
Tests: test/health_weight_export_test.dart, test/health_profile_import_test.dart; the weight, health and observation tests pass (50). 4 commits, fine to squash.
Known limits
A guest or child as the very first weighing is still exported, and a Health write cannot be recalled.
Only the newest 2000 exported timestamps are tracked per device, so very old late arrivals beyond that are skipped.
Weight export runs inside _workoutLock, so a hung permission prompt could briefly delay workout export.
The exported set is rewritten after every weighing and the weight table is re-read on each drain.
Deleted or edited weighings are not removed from Health.
The ±500 ms delete-own window can remove a neighbouring sample.
Export only runs at the tail of exportAll, so a new weighing alone does not trigger it.
Independent of the trend PR (#666); the files are disjoint.
Summary by Sourcery
Export eligible paired-scale weighings to Apple Health and Health Connect without affecting existing health history synchronization.
New Features:
Export paired scale weighings to Apple Health and Health Connect as weight samples with household filtering and per-device deduplication.
Bug Fixes:
Prevent weight samples from being deleted or rewritten by the existing per-day health synchronization passes.
Avoid re-exporting imported profile weights back to Health.
Enhancements:
Bound failed write retries, handle store timeouts, support reset and force-retry flows, and continue processing independent weighings after failures.
Request weight-write authorization once per installation while still attempting writes when permission status is unreliable.
Limit export processing and preserve pending late-arriving weighings for subsequent runs.
Build:
Declare Android Health Connect WRITE_WEIGHT permission.
Documentation:
Update the iOS Health usage description to include paired-scale weighings.
Tests:
Add coverage for weight filtering, deduplication, retries, permissions, resets, delete safety, and isolation from profile imports and daily health rewrites.

Walkthrough
Health export now requests WEIGHT authorization and exports eligible scale weighings as Health samples. The export tracks per-device timestamps and failed attempts, supports reset and retry, and runs after bulk export unless the Health store is marked hung.

Explanation
The title "Feat/weight health export" names the main change. The PR adds export of paired-scale weighings to Apple Health and Health Connect as WEIGHT samples, and the new health_weight_export.dart file implements that export. The title is short and specific, but it uses a branch-style "Feat/" prefix and does not say the export runs from paired scales or that it covers permission handling and retry limits. Those details are expected to be omitted from a short title.

**Guest weight reaches health store**
When a guest or child is the first person weighed after pairing or a reset, `exportableWeighings` accepts the first plausible weighing without establishing who used the scale, and `exportScaleWeighings` sends it to the linked health store under the account owner. A guest’s or child’s weight is therefore disclosed as the owner’s health data.
Require user confirmation or another reliable attribution signal before exporting an unassigned first weighing.

**Opt-outs do not stop an active drain**
When the user disables Health Sync or a scale after the export has started but before that scale's pending weighings are written, `exportScaleWeighings` continues using the earlier sync and device-enabled checks without rechecking either setting before writing. If the user turns off Health Sync or disables the scale during a long export, pending weighings are still sent to Health after the opt-out.
Recheck the current Health Sync and device-enabled settings before each weighing is written, and stop the drain when either is disabled.

<issue_to_address>
**Reset can erase existing weighings**
When a reset re-sends a weighing already present in Health and deletion succeeds but the replacement write fails repeatedly, `writeWeighings` deletes the existing sample before attempting its replacement. If that write fails, the weighing is counted as a failed attempt; after the retry cap, the previously exported sample is gone from Health.
Avoid deleting the existing sample until the replacement is safely written, or otherwise preserve and restore the prior sample when the write fails.

</code_context>
<issue_to_address>
**Timed-out writes can duplicate samples**
When a Health write exceeds `_deleteTimeout`, remains active, and completes after a later drain's delete-and-write retry, `Future.timeout` does not cancel the underlying Health write. A later drain can delete the sample before that timed-out write finishes, then write a replacement; when the original write completes afterward, both samples remain in Health.
Prevent a new attempt until the timed-out native operation is known to have settled, or reconcile the matching interval after the original operation completes.

<issue_to_address>
**One scale blocks later scale exports**
When loading one enabled scale's weight observations throws, the outer `try` catches the loader error and exits `exportScaleWeighings` instead of continuing the device loop, so weighings from every later enabled scale remain unexported until a later run succeeds.
Catch and log failures per device so one scale's database error does not stop exports for the remaining scales.
</issue_to_address>

</code_context>
<issue_to_address>
**Older failed weighings disappear**
When more than 2,000 newer weighings are exported while an older weighing is still failing, `exportScaleWeighings` uses the minimum retained exported timestamp as `floor` to filter `pending`, including weighings that have not reached the retry limit. Once newer exports move `floor` past an older failed weighing, every later run skips it, leaving it missing from Health.
Apply the retained-export floor only to successful exports that need deduplication, not to pending failed weighings.
</issue_to_address>

</code_context>
<issue_to_address>
**Retry limit is not verified**
When the retry limit is reduced below `kMaxWeightAttempts` while still allowing one retry, `failure continues to later weighings; bounded retries` never counts failed writes, so an implementation that permanently suppresses a weighing after only two failures still passes this loop and final zero-write assertion. The separate retry test requires only one retry, so the configured six-attempt limit is not protected.
Count attempts for the failing timestamp and assert it is tried exactly `kMaxWeightAttempts` times before being suppressed.

<issue_to_address>
**Hung-store stop is not verified**
When the store becomes hung on the first fake write, `a hung store ends the run without burning attempts` only checks that the run returns zero; its fake write always returns false and records no call count or attempt state. An implementation that ignores `stopped` and processes the second weighing still passes, as does one that counts the hung failure before the later successful run.
Record the initial run's write calls and persisted failure counts, then assert it stops after the first call without incrementing that weighing's attempts.

Prune persisted attempt entries for weighings that are no longer loaded.
Each failed weighing adds an entry under healthWeightAttemptsKey. Entries are removed only on success, reset, or forced retry. Each save writes the full map, including entries for weighings that are no longer in raw. Those entries cannot match any pending weighing.
Persist only entries whose weighing is still in raw. Keep entries for every loaded weighing, including those at kMaxWeightAttempts. Removing those would restart their retry budget. This limits the map to the weighings the device still has stored. It does not set a fixed size limit.

Unverified finding
We couldn't verify this from the code. It is shown for review, not as a verified issue.
The WEIGHT write timeout stops awaiting the Future but does not cancel the underlying store write; a late completion can race a later delete-and-retry and create a duplicate.
Two samples for the same weighing can remain in Health despite the timestamp-set deduplication.
This can occur when: A platform write times out, then eventually commits after the next export has deleted the window and begun its retry write.

Scale weighings are now written to Apple Health and Health Connect as weight samples. Before this, the scale weight stayed inside the app.
What changes
lib/health/health_weight_export.dart. It applies the same household filter as the trend (10 to 300 kg, chained 10% band, re-seed after 3 near rejects). It keeps a persisted set of exported timestamps per device (health_weight_exported:<id>, newest 2000), so a re-run does not duplicate samples.kMaxWeightAttempts(6), cleared by reset and by force retry. A failed weighing is skipped and the rest continue. A hung store is guarded by a timeout and_storeHung, as for the deletes.hasPermissions(WRITE)is unreliable.health_export.dart:WEIGHTjoins_typesbut deliberately nothealthDeleteTypesor_rewriteTypes, so a delete or rewrite pass can never touch the user's weight history.
