🎯 What: The vulnerability fixed was SQL Injection in the std.sqlite module. The execute and query functions were directly executing user-provided SQL query strings without parameterization.
⚠️ Risk: A malicious user could exploit this to execute arbitrary SQLite statements and bypass intended restrictions, escalate privileges, or disclose sensitive database information.
🛡️ Solution: Modified both execute and query functions to optionally accept a list of parameters as their third argument. These parameters are parsed from RuntimeValue to rusqlite::types::Value, referenced as &dyn ToSql, and securely passed into conn.execute and stmt.query_map to execute parameterized queries.
